History B.A.
Liberal Arts and Sciences (B.A.) will be offered jointly by the Departments of History, Science Communication and Technology Assessment as a Bachelor's degree program from the winter semester 2025/26. In the B.A. program, students can choose a minor from one of the numerous humanities disciplines in addition to the History major.
History M.A.
European Culture and History of Ideas (M.A.) is offered jointly by the Departments of History and Philosophy as a Master's degree program. It combines content from history and philosophy. Students have the opportunity to focus on specific disciplines. At the end of the course, the Master's thesis is written in either History or Philosophy.
For prospective students who would like to focus on history, the compulsory elective modules "Political History", "Cultural History of Technology" and "Ideas, Terms, Concepts" are offered by the Department of History within the LAS and EUKLID study programs.
